Canon City High School Army JROTC

The Tiger Battalion's competitive air rifle team is a local, state, regional and nationally ranked team!  We have a year-long competition season that's recognized by Canon City High School as a varsity sport.  Within the team we compete in two disciplines - Precision Three-Position Air Rifle and Sporter Three-Position Air Rifle.  Our team has club affiliations with the National Rifle Association, the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP),  USA Shooting, and the American Legion.  Our team competes in both the Southern Colorado Rifle League and the Colorado JROTC Rifle League.  We shoot matches locally, across Colorado, and in various locations across the United States.

 Past team accomplishments include Southern Colorado Rifle League Champions, Colorado JROTC Rifle League Champions, State JROTC Champions, Regional JROTC Champions and National Army JROTC Champions.
